Let’s talk about the 30th.
I feel like maybe I’m the problem when it comes to getting information out there. Idk. Maybe I need to get better at advertising… or maybe even pay to promote. Unsure right now. What I do know is that I’m doing my best.
So, the 30th.
📍 Lancaster, PA — Mayhem’s Bookstore & Board Game Café

Basic info. Easy to understand. Be there or be… square? 😉
Features of the night:
- My new novel Nexus Crest (obviously).
- Bookmarks — artwork by me.
- Stickers — artwork by me.
There will also be a photo op with a backdrop and a photographer! I’m planning a small sign with #NexusCrest, so if anyone posts, they can tag it and I can share. I’m super excited to take photos with my book and with people, both new faces and loved ones.
We’ll also have themed drinks and food. I’m VERY excited about the cake (you’ll be seeing it soon on all my channels). I’ve had this idea in mind for a while, recorded a few videos of the process, tested it out — and now I’m thrilled to bring the final version to life. It’s a cool concept: a play on the knife-blood cake.
Not sure yet if I should wear fangs lol.
As for beverages, legally I can’t distribute alcohol (thanks, PA laws 🙃), so it’s BYOB — or just mingle and meet some of the amazing people I know. Wink wink.
I also got these adorable blood bags! They’ll be filled with a virgin Shirley Temple. Plus, of course, water, Coke, and Diet Coke will be available.

- 1:40–1:55 | Second Raffle Drawing — bigger prize.
Hour 3: Celebration & Closing (2:00–3:00)

I’m still working on this, so it’s not official yet. Sometimes I wonder: if I had an agent, would they handle all of this, or would I still be doing most of it? Would life be easier? Would it cost me less?
I also made a YouTube playlist with the full Nexus Crest vibes. Songs that capture the words, feelings, and emotions of the book. I hope people love it… and me, really lol.
And a little about Mayhem’s: it’s such a cool spot. They’ve got tea, amazing bakery items, and board games (hence the name). I’ve been there a few times, and the atmosphere is great. It’s a fantastic location with great vendors, and I’m excited to partner with them.
